Success Stories

I purchased my horse Global Barouma (Baroo) from Megan Edwards/Team Have At It in June 2021, and I truly couldn’t be happier with my decision to do so. He was the first horse I was purchasing in 10 years, and I was looking for my next partner to get back into eventing after a 6 year hiatus.

From the moment I expressed interest in Baroo, Megan ensured that every detail about his background, health, and temperament was communicated openly and honestly. She went above and beyond to provide me with all the information I needed to make an informed decision.

Throughout the transaction, Megan maintained clear and open communication, addressing any questions or concerns I had with patience and professionalism. It was evident that she truly cared about matching the right horse with the right owner, and making sure my time out in Kentucky was nothing short of a fun experience.

I feel very lucky to have found Baroo, and I am so grateful to Megan for sourcing him and working with me through the purchase process. He has been such a gift to me — together, we are working up the levels of eventing and dressage. Baroo has ribboned at almost every show he has gone to, proving to be a true athlete in both eventing and dressage.

Thanks to Megan’s commitment to transparency, I felt confident and reassured every step of the way. I highly recommend working with Megan to find your next partner — I couldn’t be happier with mine!

The American Horse Trials Foundation is a non-profit corporation established to assist Three Day Event Riders and Organizers in raising tax deductible financial support for national and international competition.  Eventing is one of three Olympic Equestrian sports, with its origins in cavalry training – combining the very diverse disciplines of dressage, cross-country riding and show jumping.

Riders who are bona fide national or international level competitors are eligible to apply for grants from the American Horse Trials Foundation to further their preparation for Olympic or World Championship competition.  The American Horse Trials Foundation expanded its program to include grants for USEA recognized Events.  Additionally, the program includes grants for qualified Young Riders, Riders, and Para-Equestrians competing in the Show Jumping, Dressage, Endurance and Driving disciplines.
